RHOBH’s Kyle Richards Talks Successful Marriage in Reality TV Land; Lisa Vanderpump Named in Sexual Assault Lawsuit!

I don't think any marriage counselor ever would advise you to go on a reality show if you and your spouse were having issues…especially not on one of the housewives franchises.  The Bravo freight train is riddled with divorce.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that of all the cities, Real Housewives of New Jersey is the only series that hasn't had a resulting divorce…and we all saw how well those ladies' marriages looked last night, right?

The most recent couple to separate is Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif.  The third season hasn't aired yet, but this is the third split we've seen from the housewives of 90210.  While marriages may be falling apart all around her, Kyle "Splits McGee" Richards is quick to say that she and husband Mauricio Umansky will not suffer the same fate.  Their bond is just too strong.

Kyle recently spoke with People at the opening of her new Beverly Hills boutique.  She revealed to the magazine her secret to a lasting marriage.  Kyle explains, "I am like a lion with my family, my cubs. I'm very, very, very protective. If I ever felt like something was being affected in any way by the show, I would just walk away in a millisecond."  Um, I think I've heard that before from some of the other ladies…

Of her friend Adrienne's nasty divorce, Kyle admits, "She's doing as well as can be expected. I think they're both having a hard time. I think any time someone gets divorced, it's sad – especially for the kids. I think a lot of people liked [watching their bickering on TV] and thought it was cute, but obviously there was more going on behind closed doors than we realized."

The famous sister has advice for anyone who appears happily married who wants to partake in this television genre.  Kyle shares, "My suggestion to anybody who [wants to do] a reality show, if you have cracks in your marriage, don’t do one of these. You have to be really, really solid in order to do a reality show like this. I feel solid.”  Solid in her marriage, at least…but that doesn’t mean she’s immune to the show’s drama altogether, continuing, “Some days I’m excited [about the new season]. Some days I'm scared. I'm telling you, wherever we go, problems seem to follow."

Speaking of problems, Kyle's co-star Lisa Vanderpump is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit according to TMZ.  The site reveals that a waitress (and aspiring actress, duh) at Villa Blanca is suing Lisa, the restaurant, and its manager to the tune of $5 million for sexual assault.

Karina Bustillos alleges that manager Michael Govia once asked her to close her eyes and when she opened them he had his tongue out right up against her face.  When she wouldn't kiss him, Karina claims that Michael called her a "b*tch" and a "C U Next Tuesday" while bragging to other employees that he could sleep with her whenever he wanted.

The server cites a time in August when Michael twisted her wrists.  When Karina asked him to stop, he supposedly told her, "I will do whatever I want.  I'm the manager."

Karina's suit asserts that she complained to others at the restaurant about Michael's actions but she received the cold shoulder from Lisa.  However, Lisa is crying foul, telling the site, "The waitress had a falling out with a manager.  Of course I take that seriously.  We've looked at all the cameras and there's no sexual harassment. This is just a disgruntled employee."  Regardless, it sounds juicy!

TELL US-DO YOU THINK KYLE'S MARRIAGE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO PASS THE REALITY SHOW TEST OF TIME?  ANY TRUTH TO THE LAWSUIT AGAINST LISA OR JUST AN EMPLOYEE HOPING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK?
