In other news, Jerseylicious and Glam Fairy star Briella Calafiore has landed herself a non-reality TV acting gig! Brielle is heading to the stage in NYC for "Grimm Women", "A modern, gritty riff on the Brother's Grimm fairy tales, Grimm Women examines the classic tales and their characters, while exploring what happens after "happily ever after." These fairy-tales-gone-wild feature a Little Red with some issues (Calafiore), Rapunzel with the longest weave in the land, and a boy kissing frogs trying to find a prince."
Briella shared her excitement over the role, which can be seen this December in NYC, “I'm extremely thankful and excited to be in this piece and I can't wait for the public to see why. Grimm Women is a super edgy up-to-date version of your favorite old school fairy tails. Brandon Monokian is an amazing writer and director. He really makes you relate to these insane characters while making you laugh till your stomach hurts.”
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo seems to have inspired a new genre of reality TV. Trailer Park Lives is reportedly being picked up by TLC. The show is set to air in January and will be packaged together with HCHBB. Maybe they think America is burned out on watching these faux-rich Bravolebrities and want to see some "real people" instead?
Another reality show, tentatively called Rodeo Girls, is being pitched this week at Mipcon, touting it as “Ice Road Truckers meets Housewives.” Oh boy, what will they think of next?
