Last week, a very married Jason Aldean was photographed kissing on a very not his wife Brittany Kerr at The Den in West Hollywood.
Brittany is a cheerleader for the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats. Also an aspiring singer, Brittany tried out for American Idol in season 11. She was cut before the semi-finals.
After the photos surfaced on TMZ this weekend, the country music star issued a public apology for his cheating ways, calling it a drunken mistake. "The truth is that I screwed up," Jason said. "I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand, and acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show, and that's the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself."

Jason addressed his fans on Facebook, "I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support."
Jason and his wife Jessica Ussery were high school sweethearts. The couple married in 2001 and have two daughters together. Sources close to Brittany have said that Brittany insists she did not know Jason was married.
Yesterday, Brittany deleted her Twitter account after being subjected to a slew of hateful messages from Jason's fans. Such as, "disgusting homewrecking tramp" and "everyone thinks ur a slut!"
And, my personal favorite, "what is wrong with you, taking advantage of a married man while he was drinking." Seriously?! They're both guilty. Jason is a grown man who needs to own up to his actions, including the drinking part. The fact that he was drunk does not make him an innocent victim.. gotta love the rabid fans!
Brittany has since issued her own apology, "The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part. I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends and family."
