If you didn’t think the scripted drama of VH1’s train wreck Love & Hip Hop Atlanta could get any more ridiculous, you would be sorely mistaken!
It seems that Mona Scott-Young knows how to create situations that will no doubt end in fighting, drink throwing, and weave ripping. As if there wasn’t enough friction between the ladies and gents already cast, it’s rumored that she will be bringing in some new blood (and getting rid of a perceived dud) for the second season of the craziness. Wait, the show’s been green lighted for a second season? Oh, great!

Straight From the A is reporting that the second season will be stirring up the cast next season. The site alleges that Rasheeda’s husband Kirk Frost will be bowing out of the spotlight, citing that too much business is threatening the pair’s personal relationship. Straight From the A assures viewers that no matter how the show skews his exit, he and Rasheeda are still as strong a couple as ever. He just wants to support his wife out of the public eye.
While Kirk is leaving, one big name rapper and his “girlfriend” will be joining the cast. The site teases that Soulja Boy and his lady love rapper Diamond will show up to stir up some drama. Viewers will recall that Diamond is woman Lil’ Scrappy left Erica Dixon for (pre-show), who in turn dumped him for the better know Soulja Boy. Momma Dee had a lot to say about Diamond during the show’s premiere.
Diamond also has a lot to say about being the topic of the first episode. She says, “I wish everybody the best. I feel like only one person can judge me, and that’s God. That’s my past. I’m in the future right now, and I wish everybody the best.”
Soulja Boy also weighs in, stating,” [Diamond] is my baby, this is my girl…so anything said about her is basically they’re saying it about me … I’m backin’ her 100% and we’re just focusing on the positive. Anybody talkin’ about her name on TV, that’s just bringin’ us up more. So salute to them, we wish them the best.”
Straight From the A believes that the pair is just looking for a VH1 paycheck. All I know is Momma Dee isn’t going to like this one bit!
