Bachelor Pad returns on July 23 on ABC! Which The Bachelor and The Bachelorette rejects will get a second (third, fourth, fifth) chance at finding true love on reality TV? Ha, only if you’re Holly Durst and Blake Julian. More than likely, this ego-heavy cast is more interested in hooking up and collecting the cash prize of $250,000. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I like my TV to be dirty and not too deep.
New twist this season – six hand-selected super fans of the franchise will join the Bachelor Pad fun. Fresh meat!!
Perhaps one of the most self-absorbed contestants is none other than Emily Maynard‘s pariah Kalon McMahon. Kalon, the luxury brand consultant whose preferred mode of transportation is a helicopter, got himself kicked to the curb this week after referring to Emily’s daughter as budget-basement baggage. The comment brought out Emily’s West Virginia hood rat backwoods side, which is the most exciting thing to happen all season. If Kalon can bring personality out of Emily, I’m all for his presence on the Bachelor Pad!

Us Weekly reports the full cast as:
The Women:
Lindzi Cox (Bachelor Season 16, Ben Flajnik) – Runner up to Courtney Robertson. Loves horses. Fan favorite.
Blakeley Shea Jones (Bachelor Season 16, Ben Flajnik) – “Cocktail waitress” is code for stripper, right? Her personality and rocking body is much more suited for the Bachelor Pad. I assume she’ll be a hot commodity.
Rachel Trueheart (Bachelor, Season 16, Ben Flajnik) – Two-on-one date with Ben – she got a rose, Blakeley (see above) got a ride home. Surely, Blakeley has moved on and is completely over it by now. Gosh, I hope not!
Sarah Newlon (Bachelor, Season 11, Brad Womack) – Who?
Jamie Otis (Bachelor, Season 16, Ben Flajnik) – Likable nurse. Bad fashion choices.
Erica Rose (Bachelor, Season 9, Prince Lorenzo Borghese, Bachelor Pad 2) – Part-time law student and part-time princess. She enjoys bubble baths, tiaras, and toy dogs.
Jaclyn Swartz (Bachelor, Season 16, Ben Flajnik) – Big mouth. Mean girl.
The Men:
Michael Stagliano (Bachelorette Season 5, Jillian Harris, and Bachelor Pad 2 winner) – Never moved out of the Bachelor Pad, apparently. Last season, he won the money but lost his girl.
Ed Swiderski (Bachelorette Season 5, Jillian Harris) – Season 5 winner. Proposed to Jillian. Said he wanted to love and cherish Jillian forever and ever – but forgot to promise he’d love and cherish ONLY her forever and ever. Total player, this one.
Reid Rosenthal (Bachelorette Season 5, Jillian Harris) – Yummy realtor. Glasses optional. Came back after being eliminated to beg Jillian for a second chance. Fan favorite.
Ryan Hoag (Bachelorette Season 4, DeAnna Pappas) – Football player with all the right moves… except where it counts on Bachelor Pad. He’s a virgin. (At least, he was. We haven’t kept in touch, so I don’t know his current situation.)
Nick Peterson (Bachelorette Season 7, Ashley Hebert) – Personal trainer. With the exception of MASSIVE muscles, fairly normal dude.
Tony Pieper (Bachelorette Season 8, Emily Maynard) – Seriously? Prince Charming spent every waking second with Emily crying about missing his son. Emily sent him home wearing an unfortunate sweater because he cried THAT much. Because he missed his son. So, naturally, he’s on the Bachelor Pad now.
Mystery Man (Bachelorette, Season 8, Emily Maynard) – Oh! Mystery means he’s still “active” on The Bachelorette. Who do you hope it is?
And, of course, Kalon McMahon (Bachelorette Season 8, Emily Maynard)
The Super Fans:
Brittany and Erica Taltos (competing as one contestant) – Twins playing as one, that’s very Big Brother of them. Lawsuit is in the works, I’m sure.
Paige Vigil
Donna Zitelli
Chris Bain
David Mallet
