The Kim Kardashian vs. Kris Humphries divorce war rages on, and I have to say this is the most interested I’ve ever been in Kim. While we all wait for a resolution, the ex-couple continues to battle it out over every detail. Isn’t it funny that their divorce has lasted far longer than their marriage?
In a new edition of Us Weekly (print edition), Kim is apparently fed up with Kris trying to make her life a living hell by refusing to sign the divorce papers quickly and quietly. Team Kardashian is coming out swinging at Kris and accusing him of dragging out the divorce for attention. Which is also funny, because, arguably, she married for attention! They also accuse him of hiding wedding presents only to make a big deal of what happened to the gifts in the press.
“She would grant a divorce in a second, but he won’t sign the papers, he won’t let go,” Kris Jenner a friend of Kim’s reports. “Kris wants to hurt her. He’s doing this to humiliate her, plain and simple.” Even worse, a source accuses Kris of doing all of this to recapture Kim’s attention! Please…
They also believe Kris is a famewhore of the first order, which is a concept the Kardashians are very well acquainted with. “Kris wants money and he wants fame,” a source insists. “His strategy is to keep leaking nasty items about her to the press until she caves and gives him money.” Reports have claimed Kris is seeking as much as $7 million dollars in the divorce settlement in exchange for silence.
Furthermore, Kamp K insists Kris started a “tug-of-war” over the wedding gifts, making it look like Kim selfishly took ownership of all of them. A Kardashian source claims Kris gave “a ton of s**t to his family,” post wedding. “You should check the Humphries’ home in Minnesota for some $27,000 Lalique vases,” he adds.
Kim’s people say the only gifts she kept were the ones given by her guests–as dictated by their pre-nup–and she donated the amount of all the gifts to charity.
Upon learning that the Kardashians were accusing the Humphries of harboring gifts, the family was reportedly disgusted. “That’s not even close to being true at all,” a source for the Humphries family tells HollywoodLife. “Kris’ family received some Bibles and maybe two or three other things, but nothing expensive like Lalique vases.”
Kim, high on delusion, maintains she had no intention of hurting Kris with the divorce, which is why she hasn’t spoken out publicly about her pre-divorce marriage until now – despite the onslaught of magazines that continue to trash him and are filled with so-called anonymous sources. “I’m so ready, emotionally, for this chapter to be over. I want to leave it in my past so I can start fresh,” she tells Us Weekly.
Kris is irate over these so-called reports accusing him of ruining Kim’s life, and he is even more angry that Kim is now making accusations against his family. He believes it’s her own fault her life is such a mess. Which is true.
And Kris is moving forward with his annulment based on fraud. Proving that he’s not backing down to the Kardashians’ “bullying,” Kris filed court documents accusing Kim of “breaching fiduciary duty;” demanding she reveal how much money she earned during their wedding and subsequent short marriage! Did I mention I am liking this Kris more and more?
“A husband and wife are subject to the general rules governing fiduciary relationships which control the actions of persons occupying confidential relations to each other. This confidential relationship imposes a duty of the highest good faith and fair dealing on each spouse, and neither will take unfair advantage of each other,” Kris’ documents state.
“Kris feels that Kim hasn’t given an honest and accurate accounting of money they made while they were married,” a source tells RadarOnline. “Kris has complied with turning over his bank records, credit card statements, but Kim hasn’t, and she has been stalling. Kris didn’t want to take her to court over this, but he isn’t playing Mr. Nice Guy anymore.” A copy of the document is below!
Firing back against the wedding gift accusations, Kris’ court filings stipulate: “A spouse may not make a gift of community personal property, or dispose of community personal property for less than fair and reasonable value, without the written consent of the other spouse.”
And apparently, Kris decided to file these documents a day after Kim came out slamming him in Us Weekly with the cover story “My Divorce Hell!” Kim herself, along with the formidable Kris Jenner, speak out about her dark days following her divorce. Kris apparently timed the fiduciary demands to coincide with Kim’s tell-all and prove that if she continues accusing him of making her life hell, he really will! Yikes – this is getting nastier than I ever expected.
This latest magazine cover, which covertly trashes him while attempting to paint Kim the victim, coupled with the totally false depiction he feels he received on Kourtney & Kim Take New York, has been the last straw.
“Kris has told his lawyer to no longer attempt to reach a settlement with Kim. It’s a waste of time and he is ready to take this to trial, and he will,”a source reveals.”Kris just wants the truth to come out and that is what the courts are for. A judge can decide if the marriage should be annulled on grounds of fraud.” Wow!
“What is Kim so afraid of and why is she fighting their divorce going to trial? Kris’ name has been trashed in the press by Kim’s camp for a very long time, and he has the right to fight back but he isn’t doing it the way she is, and he will have his day in court.” Kris has refused to speak out about his marriage and divorce thus far, even getting upset on a Good Morning America appearance when pressed for details.
Lastly, Kim claims filing for divorce was “the toughest thing I ever had to go through,” and she is finally ready to date again! This time she is staying far away from athletes and celebrities. Kim wants “a lawyer or businessman; something different.” And because she’s picked so many losers herself, she’s hoping her sisters will help her out and set her up!
“Khloe is in Dallas, so I don’t think she knows anyone,” Kim says. “But Kourtney is really practical these days, I would trust her!” Oh God. Run men of Los Angeles, run! An STD is headed your way at warp speed!
