Apparently, Bethenny Frankel‘s marriage is in even more trouble than we see on TV. The candid and inappropriate humor loving star can allegedly add “diva from hell” to her vast resume because that’s exactly what she’s turned into according to reports! Bethenny never denied being difficult but her demands have reached the intolerable level and she is now pushing husband Jason Hoppy over the edge!
Bethenny has always been a bit of a famewhore – like her or not, one doesn’t do a string of reality shows if there isn’t some level of fameitis in your bloodstream. Recently, her obsession with fame is escalating; causing some serious rifts in her marriage, as Jason would like to settle down, live the family life, and leave television behind. Bethenny has other ideas!
Bethenny’s success has definitely gone to her head and it’s affecting her marriage – which is closer to divorce than ever! “They had dinner with Ellen DeGeneres when they were in LA a few months ago, and Bethenny didn’t shut up. She treats Jason badly in front of her famous friends,” an insider Julie recounts to In Touch Weekly (via their print edition). “Now that she has the baby she wanted, she doesn’t need a reality TV husband.”
Many have suspected while watching this season of Bethenny Ever After that Bethenny has almost no time in her life for Jason, as she often complains about him and pushes him aside. Apparently, that’s closer to reality than fiction. In fact, Bethenny’s rising star is forcing her family to give up more and more family time for her career.
“I love Montauk so much. Having the freedom to run around with Bryn in the beautiful sun is something I cherish. We’re building memories to last a lifetime,” Bethenny writes in her Bravo blog. “Family summer days are our favorite.”
Sadly, for the Frankel-Hoppy fam, things won’t be as leisurely this summer as Bethenny, yet again, as an agenda to put their life on television! “This summer we’ll be in LA filming my talk show and we’ll miss it,” she reveals.
Calling allegations of marital strife and famegrubbing nonsense, an insider disputes that Bethenny and Jason are unhappy! “This is absolutely ridiculous! Bethenny and the word DIVA should never be in the same sentence,” Bethenny the source tells RumorFix.
“She works her rear end off, every day and all the time. She and Jason are extremely happy.” Interesting, because Bethenny herself has admitted both on television and in interviews that her marriage has been a challenge and they are working on things!
Moving on, tonight marks a new episode of Bethenny Ever After. Bethenny confesses that she and Jason are fighting, but have decided to go on the couple’s boating trip. Sadly, they get into an explosive argument while leaving for the boat and Jason storms off leaving Bethenny and Bryn behind! And again the question: Why do you want your marital implosion on TV?
