Kate Gosselin‘s finances are in the hot seat again! The mom of many, who just cannot be without her $2k Ted Gibson extensions and her gigolo bodyguard, Steve Neild, is allegedly under tremendous financial strain since the cancellation of her unpopular reality show, Kate Plus 8!
The aspiring pimpmomager has been hard at work shilling coupons and running marathons, but, apparently, it’s not enough! Rumors have surfaced that Kate is all but broke and is forced to host a Royal Caribbean Cruise this summer because she is “strapped for cash.” Yeah – what a horrible job. Ugh. I so feel for you, Kate.
“The last thing Kate wants to do is hang out with complete strangers,” a source tells HollyBaby. “She’s doing it for a free vacation and because she needs money desperately.” Kate has mentioned more than once that one of her big concerns about being dumped by TLC is the lack of luxury vacations! Why do I think a Kate Gosselin Cruise is not going to be the company’s best-selling trip? Do you think she’ll spend the entire week having meltdowns, screaming over pizza, and ordering the vacationers around so they can have the authentic Kate-perience?
And Kate is not letting go of her TV stardom dreams. “Kate wants her own show, a talk show, but it’s just not panning out,” the source explains. “Kate doesn’t know what’s next, but she’s doing whatever she can to make money for her and the kids.”
News of her depleted financial state has had many fans questioning just how she affords such luxury items as a bodyguard, particularly when Kate was all but begging her Twitter followers to help her afford the five laptops she needed to buy for her children! “Steve works for Kate for free,” the source reveals. “If she ever pays him, it’s the bare minimum.”
Kate is apparently trying to drum up sympathy for her financial plight by taking to twitter to work the single mom angle. Despite telling Dr. Drew in a recent interview that she now has an amicable relationship with ex-husband Jon Gosselin, who is much more involved in their childrens’ lives, Kate is still trashing him – albeit indirectly. And she is insinuating she needs money to pay for her children’s necessities because she is raising her kids alone!
Apparently, one fan had enough, writing: “If only I had that money! Surely she has the money from her TV show to buy five laptops.”

That prompted other tweeters to wonder just how the divorced mother became a single one, being that Jon is still there and very much involved in his kids’ lives. “Kate, you are NOT raising kids alone. Don’t lie. Also many moms here know what it’s REALLY like to raids kids alone,” one user seethed. Yikes!
Jon has not commented back, but an irate Kate went on a blocking rampage and encouraged fans to ignore and block these so-called negative users. Is she hanging out with Jill Zarin these days?
Speaking of Kate’s rampant follower,s the egotistical wannabe A-lister has now coined a name for her illustrious fans. “How many more of u are ‘Gosselinators'(a new term that I think means majorly dedicated truly devoted fans4life)?;” Kate wondered on twitter. She got one reply. Right – so Gosselinators… that’s just… sad. I prefer Gosselinista, myself!
