Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada And Tami Roman Find Themselves On The Receiving End Of High Dollar Lawsuits

Perhaps they should call it Basketball Wives: Law and Disorder! Two of the original Basketball Wives are on the receiving end of some pretty hefty-and ridiculous sounding-lawsuits.

TMZ.com is reporting that Evelyn Lozada is being sued for allegedly benefiting from hundreds of thousands of dollars funneled to her illegally from ex-fiancé and NBA All-Star Antoine Walker. Walker, who filed for bankruptcy last year, made $110 million from his NBA career… and that’s not counting the bank he pulled in from additional deals and endorsements. How does one person — actually, how do one hundred people — blow through that cash so quickly?

Walker’s bankruptcy trustee is questioning Lozada’s part in the whole situation because Antoine apparently gifted his ex-fiancé with $560,000 when he knew he was going broke. The trustee is claiming fraud regarding Walker’s money transfer to Evelyn, stating it was an attempt to conceal funds from his actual creditors. The trustee further accuses Evelyn of using that money to open her high end shoe store, Dulce, in Miami.

Evelyn is crying foul insisting that she knew nothing of Walker’s money troubles. She admits that Antoine gave her money to pay some bills, but she is adamant that Dulce was founded on proceeds from her engagement ring from Walker, not from the $560,000 that the trustee is trying to recover. Because that’s better, right? Regardless, Evelyn believes she is pretty safe from these recent allegations, and I can’t say I blame her. Sources close to Evelyn reveal she had no clue that her ex was in such financial trouble.

Also looking down the barrel of a lawsuit is Evelyn’s co-star and biffle Tami Roman. It seems that Tami has gotten herself into quite the hairy situation… pun intended.

The same site is highlighting another litigious timeline in which Tami requested some weave hair extensions from Constance Corleone (and no, she’s not the newest addition to Mob Wives) who is the owner of Bella Dream Hair. The suit claims that Constance was kind enough to gift Tami with some fake hair, and she was mortified to learn that Tami was starting a hair line of her own aptly called Curls By Roman.

The cusp of the altercation hinges on the fact that Tami advertised her line of faux hair with pictures of her wearing extensions from Bella Dream Hair. That’s some serious stuff, y’all! After the drama began, Tami issued a press release (who am I kidding?) tweeted, “Fraudulent people trying to take credit NOT. People trying to take credit for this hair. WTF they crazy.” Who needs legal representation when they are that eloquent?

TMZ.com reports that Constance is suing the diva for a mere $500,000 (chump change!) and she demanded Tami return the gifted hair. Tami responded, “Mad that I already mailed that S**T back2u cuz I got they address-would took it to Constance myself lying bitch.” It appears Tami is looking the gift hair in the scalp mouth!

DO YOU THINK EVELYN HAD ANY IDEA ANTIONE WAS IN SUCH DEBT?  SHOULD SHE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAYING ALL THAT MONEY?  WHAT ARE YOU THOUGHTS ON THE LAWSUIT AGAINST TAMI?  DOES SHE OWE BELLA DREAM HAIR?
