Beverly Hills Housewives’ Kyle Richards Publicly Apologizes To Brandi Glanville, Regrets Doing Show

Following Monday night’s explosive argument between the Richards Sisters and newbie Brandi Glanville on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards is making the media rounds to publicly admit her behavior was appalling and give her perspective on how the argument got so out of hand. Wait?! Did I just type that a reality star apologized for their behavior? Hmph, interesting.

Taking to her Bravo blog, Kyle recalls that this episode was harder for her to watch than last season’s finale where she and Kim Richards had the infamous limo fight; explaining that the argument with Kim was deeply personal and years in the making, where as Monday’s episode was just plain “mean girls!”

Kyle even describes herself as a witch! “Oh, my gosh, all I needed was a broom and a wart on the end of my nose,” she says of her catty laugh in response to Kim’s rude comments about Brandi!

Kyle also defended herself on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, telling him: “I look at this and I think that’s just not who I am and it bothers me that it got to that!”

“I look so mean, and I swear I’m not a mean person,” Kyle insists. Surprisingly Kyle did not blame editing and acknowledges she was totally responsible for her actions. She explains her reasons for the over-the-top outburst as “Group dynamics are so tense, they bring out the worst in you.”

“Especially since I was working on my relationship with my sister [Kim]. I think she could have done anything at that point and I would have stood by her,” she goes onto clarify.

When asked about Kim’s health and if she had relapsed, Kyle played coy while revealing a very interesting fact: “I haven’t seen her, myself. I hope not!” However she does emphatically state that Kim, who was taped popping pills at an airport last year, was not intoxicated during the incident.

Telling Access Hollywood: “I was really upset when Brandi made those accusations to my sister because it wasn’t true. They were pretty hard accusations, especially when there were cameras there,” Kyle protested. Kyle repeats that she doesn’t know what was wrong with Kim during the argument and she “only saw what you saw!”

Explaining the dynamics of RHOBH, Kyle quips: “This is not Little House on the Prairie, folks!” Adding that all she can do is “learn from this and move forward and hope to not let these things get so out of hand again.”

She also admits that putting herself out there on a reality show is “not easy, but it can be a wonderful platform.” And she has called her friend and veteran reality TV personality Bethenny Frankel “in tears” because of the show. “It’s not easy putting your life out there and sometimes being judged,” Kyle explains. Especially “for things you don’t necessarily think are ‘who you are.'”

Kyle regrets her behavior (and Kim’s) so much she even wonders if she will come back for another season! “I don’t know. This season is done for now, so I don’t have to think about it for a while,” she mused. “There’s always that chance.”

As for her relationship with Brandi, she confesses “it gets worse before it gets better.” And offers an apology to Brandi and “anyone else who I let down. “ Wow she is really taking this to heart!

Kim has yet to make any comment about the incident or the accusations flying her way. She also has not done a blog for Bravo all season or Tweeted anything about the episode.

Thoughts on Kyle’s apologies? Is she sincere? Do you believe Kim was intoxicated or just a mean girl?
