Well, since she doesn’t have her one, true love aka reality TV, Kate Gosselin, formerly of Kate Plus 8 is drowning her sorrows in her white wine sitting at home, miserable and alone, waiting for the next on-camera gig to come calling!
Apparently while her 8 are at school, the cameras have disappeared, and she can no longer afford to shop away her boredom since she has “no firm job offers on the table,” Kate has become “depressed,” a source tells HollyBaby.com. Kate is “trying to come up with things to do,” the source explains, “but she’s miserable.”
Obliviously not handing the termination of her show well, Kate has no intentions of taking ex-husband Jon Gosselin‘s advice to embrace the “simple life,”and is seeking another job in front of the camera ASAP. Hey, she doesn’t want to have to add “Has-Been Reality Star” to her resume!
Kate, who wore a ‘Desperate For Camera Time’ sign throughout her barrage of TV interviews following TLC’s cancellation notice, “thought she’d get a job immediately or be offered to take her reality show to another network but she’s getting a wakeup call,” the source discloses.
Kate is apparently passing the time by “working on her website,” the recently launched KatePlusMy8.com, which offers advice to mothers from a woman who knows about raising kids without round the clock childcare, housekeeping, and private schools and gives fans (haha!) a glimpse into her life following cable TV! Unfortunately for Kate, so far the website has proven to be a paltry endeavor since people aren’t that interested in reading about what Kate eats for dinner or seeing her continue to make money off her children.
As for job prospects, the source reveals that Kate expects to be offered a spot hosting The Talk, but she is “still firming up the details” and even if she gets the job, “She would only host it for a week but then what?”
Not having stable income is a big deal for the fired mom of many, who recently Tweeted that she spends $700 a week on “organic” groceries feeding her brood! Well, Kate since you also spend $700 week on tanning, exercising, and hair dying that may have been where your trouble started! My question is: where is her bodyguard – isn’t he around to entertain her?
