Former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky is recovering following a kayak accident on Sunday that landed her in the hospital.
According to PEOPLE, both Ali and her fiance Roberto Martinez (yes they are still shockingly together) were both involved in the mishap. “Ali and Roberto had a little mishap when their kayak capsized this weekend,” her rep confirms. “Ali was taken to the hospital and had five staples put in her head.”
Meanwhile, Ali tweeted about the accident. “Made it out of the ER w/staples in my head & a little less hair after falling out of a kayak. Scary stuff. Wearing a helmet next time,” she wrote later adding that she was more concerned with her mane “I think I freaked out more when the doctor cut my hair rather than when he put staples into my head. Lol. Very thankful to be ok.”
As for Roberto, he is fine with Ali’s rep crediting him for keeping “her calm” and taking “great care of her.” Ali is said to be “doing fine” as well.
PEOPLE also adds that Ali is currently planning her wedding to Roberto. The two have been together for close to a year, equivalent to about a decade in Bachelor years.
And speaking of the Bachelor, weeks after it was reported that Brad Womack was house hunting in Texas and wanted his fiance Emily Maynard to move in with him, a new report is now stating the two have broken up again and this time for good.
According to the Rumorfix, Brad and Emily are done and the break-up occurred early last week. The reason for the break-up? “Emily couldn’t put up with his little temper and all the fighting,” says a source. Brad’s ex-girlfriend Laurel Kagay had accused him of having a volatile temper and repeatedly breaking up with her only to get back together days later.
“They always were pretty on-again-off-again, but this time it’s a done deal,” the insider says. Adding more fuel to the fire is the fact that the couple hasn’t been photographed together since March 27.
The Bachelor producers are reportedly aware of the split and are now trying to come up with a plan for damage control. We’re guessing a ratings bonanza via a break-up sit down special with the two is in the works.
