Bachelor’s Brad and Emily Deny Split, Trying For A Baby? Plus Ashley Hebert Bachelorette Photos!

A day after a report came out stating they might have broken up for good, engaged Bachelor couple Brad Womack and Emily Maynard are now denying the split rumors.

The duo released a statement yesterday admitting that while things have been bumpy at times, they are still in love and dedicated to one another.

“At long last, Emily and I can be open to the world and each other about our relationship. Though we are madly in love, it has been a bumpy couple of months for us and our priority right now is to focus on our relationship,” said Brad, 38, and Emily, 25. “We hope that you can respect our privacy as we return to normalcy and begin our off-screen lives together,” they added in the statement.

Meanwhile, Bachelor host Chris Harrison appeared on the Ryan Seacrest radio show yesterday morning during which he revealed Brad and Emily have broken up more than once before. “They actually broke up a couple of times. They both are incredibly stubborn, they’re very much alike and neither one of them give. And they’ve had some knock-down drag out fights,” said Chris.

Brad and Emily also grace the latest cover of PEOPLE magazine, out tomorrow, opening up about their relationship to the mag.

“I’m so happily engaged. I’ve never been happier, I promise you that,” Brad tells PEOPLE. “The hardest part is behind us,” adds Emily. “I feel pretty confident if we can make it through [the past three months], we can make it through.”

The mag also teases that Brad and Emily might be trying to have a baby despite their bumpy relationship thus far.

And finally, despite the not so positive response from fans of the show, ABC is moving full speed ahead with Ashley Hebert as their next Bachelorette. The network in fact released some new promo images of Ashley, 26. Those photos are below!

The Bachelorette premieres May 23 on ABC.
