It is common knowledge by now that Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, who might or might not be the new Amber Portwood, no longer has custody her of 1-year-old son Jace.
The reason? The 19-year-old signed over custody to her mother Barbara Evans. According to Jenelle, it was supposed to be temporary though Barbara continues to have custody of the kid since June 10. In fact, Jenelle is now being forced to pay her mother child support.
On tonight’s all new episode of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle attempts to explain why she handed her mom custody. “When you kicked me out, I realized I can’t take care of Jace on my own yet because I can’t even support myself,” Jenelle admits. “I am going to start making changes, but I’m just going to sign over custody because I don’t want to go through [court hearings] just to get the final decision from a judge.”
Barbara, 57, was planning to take Janelle to court for custody. And while Janelle claims she wants to regain custody of her son, she hasn’t been acting like it.
According to the HollywoodLife, Janelle has been in some legal trouble since giving up custody of Jace. She has been arrested but cleared of trespassing, and is currently due in court to face charges of breaking and entering plus marijuana possession.
And just over a week ago, Jenelle took to her now deleted twitter page to bash Teen Mom season one stars Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood.
“Hahahah @F1abraham at least i dont have some fake a** ti**es. HAHAHA,” Jenelle tweeted, following up with a second tweet to Amber, 20. “Its funny how the other original teen moms have to get jealous over us,” she said. “Get over it. grow up. yr as fake as that orange suntan and yr boobs.”
Jenelle also went on to write some things about MTV, blaming editing for some footage that showed her smoking weed. Following these tweets, her twitter page was deleted with MTV providing the following comment: “Jenelle decided to cancel her Twitter account, MTV had nothing to do with it.”
