In a new interview with Playboy magazine, NBA player Lamar Odom can’t help but sing the praises of his wife Khloe Kardashian.
In the interview from Playboy’s upcoming February issue, Lamar, 31, reveals the biggest surprise about his wife of over a year was her IQ. “I was kind of surprised at how intelligent she was,” said Lamar. “You don’t know what to expect. Next thing I know I’m spending every day with her. We just hit it off.”
If you recall, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars tied the knot back in September 2009 after only dating for a few weeks. According to Lamar, he simply found no reason to delay his happiness. “It was quick,” he says. “I guess that just added to the speculation – ‘Why can’t they wait?’ I didn’t want to wait.”
Lamar also reveals that while the old him was afraid of the responsibility of even having a girlfriend, he is now a changed man thanks to Khloe. “With her I was like, ‘If I do what I normally do, I’m going to lose her,'” states Lamar. “‘And if I lose her, I think it’s going to hurt a lot.’ Right then and there I knew. We were together every day.” We can all let out a collective aww though we wonder how Liza Morales, the mother of Lamar’s 2 kids and girlfriend of over a decade must be feeling about this new interview.
In other Khlomar news, it seems Khloe is oh so over being a red head as she is now back to being a brunette just nine days after the drastic color change.
“I had to dye my hair back to brown,” Khloe announced on her twitter page. “I love being a brunette don’t get me wrong but red was SOO much fun! I was only red for a like a week :(.”
So why the quick change of heart? According to UsWeekly, it all has to do with Khloe’s new E! reality show – Khloe and Lamar. “Khloe starts filming her show with Lamar [Odom] and E! wanted her to stay consistent all season,” a source tells UsMagazine. “It was a test run. She loved it.”
