Following her early departure, yet again, on last week’s episode of Jersey Shore, 24-year-old Angelina Pivarnick is now speaking out on her time on the show.
In a new interview with UsWeekly, the Staten Island Dump reality star reveals she was “bullied” by her co-stars. “They never gave me a second shot,” Angelina says. “Just because you’re celebrities now and I left the first season does not mean I should be treated badly. It’s sad how people change.”
Apparently, things got so bad for Angelina, to the point that she is now seeing a therapist as she feels she was made a scapegoat for all the underlying problems in the house.
“I was bullied to the fullest sense,” she says. “Mike [The Situation] called me a dirty hamster, but I cleaned that house up and down. MTV never showed that. Snooki would call me a whore. Mike and Vinny would call me fat… I would go in the bathroom and cry.”
Angelina, who is now back living in Staten Island with her mom and sister, reveals she can no longer watch the show. “It bothers me hearing the names they call me, and that it looks like I’m the backstabber,” she tells Us. “My head is really f–ked up; I see a therapist, I cry a lot. It’s probably going to take me a year to get over this. My mom got bleeding ulcers from the stress — it’s hard to watch her daughter go through what I did.”
As for her current relationship status with Jose, you know, the guy that got her a fossil watch, Angelina reveals he was just using her to get on TV. “When I came home,” she says. “I saw he wrote on Facebook, ‘I can’t wait to be on MTV!’ He was in it to be on TV! He called me the other day and said, ‘We could have been the next Sammi and Ronnie.’
A new episode of the Jersey Shore airs tonight on MTV. On the 11th episode of this season titled “Girls Like That,” Snooki and J-Woww decide to make amends with Sammi; Vinny pursues two groups of girls; and Mike’s antics annoy Snooki. It airs 10/9c.
