Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, star of MTV’s the Jersey Shore has been arrested in New Jersey.
According to TMZ, Snooki was arrested for disorderly conduct Friday afternoon with law enforcement telling TMZ she remains in police custody.
“She didn’t hurt anyone or get in a fight,” says a source to PEOPLE. “She just needs to be in a drunk tank for two hours.”
The arrest will likely be on your TV screens in a couple of months as Snooki and co are currently filming the third season of the hit reality show, and oddly enough the second season premiered yesterday night.
MTV has yet to comment on the arrest.
