Ok Magazine, which bought the exclusive rights to Bethenny Frankel’s wedding photos, has released the first picture of Bethenny as a bride. A bigger photo of this is below.
According to reports, the Real Housewives of NYC star wore a beautiful Amsale wedding gown during her wedding to Jason Hoppy at the prestigious Manhattan Four Seasons. With good publicity also comes bad press, and the latest is a report claiming OK magazine only paid Bethenny $10,000 for her wedding photos.
The report claims, Bethenny’s people were requesting $100,000 from magazines wanting to publish the photos, but apparently no one was willing to pay that much so she had to settle for $10,000, and not the $25,000 fee that had been widely reported. Bethenny’s rep however denies the story, saying both the $10,000 and $25,000 amounts are false.
In other news, Bethenny’s former BFF Jill Zarin appeared on The Insider show yesterday and spoke out on the demise of her friendship with Bethenny, and not being invited to her wedding. Jill even went as far as to refer to Bethenny’s wedding as “circus like.”
“I guess I wasn’t surprised I wasn’t invited, but I was hurt,” Jill says of Bethenny’s wedding, later adding, “I felt bad on Sunday. It was a rough day.”
And how did she feel about seeing pictures of her co-stars Alex McCord and Ramona Singer at the wedding? “I didn’t think that they were real friends in real life, but you know what I just think the whole thing was just a little bit circus like,” sniped Jill. Ouch.
As for why their friendship ended, Jill said, “For me it became toxic, she just started to get mean and go below the belt.”
